TRAI Extends Consultation Deadline for TV Distribution Framework
TRAI has extended deadlines for public comments on a consultation paper concerning regulatory framework for Application-based Linear Television Distribution (ALTD) Services.
- TRAI released a Consultation Paper on 'Formulation of a Regulatory Framework for ALTD Services' on 6th April 2026.
- The deadline for comments is extended from 4th May 2026 to 11th May 2026.
- The deadline for counter comments is extended from 18th May 2026 to 25th May 2026.
💡 Remember: TRAI extended deadlines for comments on ALTD and FAST services to May 11 and May 25, 2026.
