Indian Navy Leases Sea Guardian Drones for Maritime Surveillance
The Ministry of Defence has signed a contract to lease two advanced drones for the Indian Navy to enhance maritime domain awareness.

PLFS July 2026: Labour Market Indicators Show Improvement
The **Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS)** for July 2026 indicates positive trends in key labour market indicators across India.
- Overall Labour Force Participation Rate (LFPR) for those 15+ increased to 55.4% in July 2026.
- Overall Worker Population Ratio (WPR) for those 15+ rose to 52.5% in July 2026.
- Overall Unemployment Rate (UR) for those 15+ declined to 5.1% in July 2026.
- Female LFPR showed a noticeable increase to 34.4% in July 2026 from 32.7% in June 2026.
