Regenerative Agriculture: Strengthening Indian Farming Resilience
India is accelerating the adoption of regenerative agriculture to restore soil health, improve biodiversity, and enhance resilience against climate stresses.
- As of March 2026, natural farming clusters covered 8.80 lakh hectares.
- These clusters enrolled 18.19 lakh farmers as of March 2026.
- About 109 lakh hectares were brought under Per Drop More Crop as of May 2026.
- Since inception, 25.89 crore Soil Health Cards have been generated as of March 2026.
