PM Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana: One Year of District Development
The **PMDDKY** scheme completes one year, focusing on transforming agriculture across **100 Aspirational Agricultural Districts**.
- PMDDKY was approved on 16th July 2025 and launched on 11th October 2025 for six years.
- It targets 100 districts based on low productivity, low cropping intensity, and less agricultural credit.
- The scheme converges 36 Central schemes across 11 Ministries and State schemes.

Tarang Shakti 2026: Multinational Air Exercise Hosted by India
The **Indian Air Force (IAF)** hosted the second edition of **Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026** in **Jodhpur**, promoting international cooperation and self-reliance.
- The second edition of Exercise Tarang Shakti was hosted by IAF from 26 September to 12 October 2026.
- Seven Friendly Foreign Countries participated, including Australia, Bangladesh, France, Germany, Sri Lanka, UAE, and USA.
- There were also 32 observer nations involved in the exercise.
- Indigenous platforms like LCA Tejas and LCH Prachand participated.
- The first edition of the exercise was held in 2024.

NBA disburses ₹2.02 crore ABS funds for biodiversity, community welfare
The National Biodiversity Authority (NBA) distributed Access and Benefit-Sharing (ABS) funds from the seed sector to States and UTs for biodiversity and livelihood support.
- NBA disbursed ₹2.02 crore among 27 States and 3 Union Territories.
- Funds came from seed-sector companies for agricultural biological resources.
- Top 10 states received ₹1.43 crore of the disbursed amount.
- Cumulative ABS disbursement by NBA has reached ₹202.00 crore.
- This implements the Biological Diversity Act, 2002, and NBSAP 2024–2030.

Second Regional Review Conference on Forest Rights Act Implementation
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs held its second regional review on the Forest Rights Act in Kolkata for eight states, addressing pending claims and digitization.
- The Second Regional Review Conference on FRA, 2006 was held in Kolkata on 9th October 2026.
- Eight states reviewed progress on claims, including West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh.
- As of 31st August 2026, 54 lakh claims were received, 25 lakh titles distributed, 11 lakh pending, and 18 lakh rejected.
- States were urged to prepare action plans for Gram Sabhas and PVTG Habitat Rights roadmaps.
- Andhra Pradesh shared best practices in digitization and record integration.
- The FRA mobile app and National-level FRA Portal were highlighted for digitization and governance.
