VB-GRAM G Act, 2025: Smooth Transition from NREGS

A review meeting was held to ensure smooth operationalisation of the **VB-G RAM G Act, 2025** from its commencement on **1st July, 2026**.

The VB-G RAM G Act, 2025 will replace Mahatma Gandhi NREGS.
It commences on 1st July, 2026.
An adequate labour budget of over 45 crore persondays is approved for June, 2026.
₹26,971 crore sanctions ensure continued fund flow under Mahatma Gandhi NREGS.
Draft Rules under VB-G RAM G Act, 2025 were issued on 22.05.2026 for public consultation.
Ongoing works as on 30th June, 2026, will transition to VB-G RAM G.

💡 Remember, VB-G RAM G Act, 2025 replaces NREGS from July 1, 2026, with substantial funds and labour budgets for transition.

The DPIIT released operational guidelines for the **BHAVYA Scheme**, a Central Sector Scheme to develop world-class industrial parks.

BHAVYA Scheme aims to develop 100 industrial parks over six years from 2026-27 to 2031-32.
The total financial outlay for the scheme is approximately ₹33,660 crore.
National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC) is the Project Management Agency (PMA).
Minimum land requirements are 100 acres for non-hilly states and 25 acres for hilly states.
