MAHA Water Mission launched for water security, innovation
The **Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)** launched the **MAHA Water Mission** with **Ministry of Jal Shakti** to support water sector startups.
- The MAHA Water Mission has an outlay of ₹200 crore over five years.
- It will support startups, MSMEs, and institutions for water technology development and deployment.
- The mission focuses on five themes, including water resource management and drinking water.
- Up to ₹20 crore support will be available for selected consortia.
