Wholesale Price Index Base Year Revised to 2022-23
India's Wholesale Price Index (WPI) base year has been revised from 2011-12 to 2022-23, with new Producer Price Indices (PPIs) also being released.
- The WPI base year has been revised from 2011-12 to 2022-23.
- New Producer Price Indices (PPIs) will be released on June 15, 2026.
- Total WPI items increased from 697 to 957, including solar and wind energy.
- WPI will be discontinued five years from release, transitioning to PPI.
- PPIs are released for seven services, including Banking and Railways.

Reform-Linked MoUs Signed for Jal Jeevan Mission 2.0
Four States and one UT signed MoUs with the Ministry of Jal Shakti to advance sustainable rural water delivery under **JJM 2.0**.

PMMVY: Maternity Benefits for Pregnant and Lactating Women
The **Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY)** provides financial aid to pregnant and lactating women.
