First PM MITRA Park Inaugurated in Warangal, Telangana
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated India's first functional PM MITRA Park in Warangal, Telangana, a significant step for textile sector growth.
- The PM MITRA Park in Warangal, Telangana, is the first to be operational in the country.
- Developed at ₹1695.54 Cr, it implements the 5F vision: Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign.
- Spread across 1,327 acres, it is expected to generate over 24,400 jobs.
- It will receive ₹200 crores in development capital and ₹300 crores in competitive incentive support.
- The Ministry of Textiles approved seven PM MITRA parks in March 2023.
💡 Remember: The first PM MITRA Park (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) is in Warangal, Telangana, costing ₹1695.54 Cr, with ₹500 Cr central support.
